AUCTION RULES FOR BIDDERS: Placing a bid legally and contractually obligates you to pay for an item, in the event you have the winning bid. We STRONGLY recommend that you read ALL Terms below BEFORE placing your first bid, to avoid any surprises or misunderstandings. REGISTERING TO BID: There will be a $100.00 credit card pre-authorization required upon registration to bid online. The $100 hold will be released within 24 hours. Credit cards must be saved in your Bidder Profile, to allow credit card pre-authorizations, which are processed online only. Placing a bid contractually binds you to paying for an item. If you win a bid, payment is required, whether or not you pick up your item(s). If you do not show up to pick up your items during the specified time, your credit card will be charged for the amount you owe, plus a 5% administrative fee. If your payment is declined, you will be banned from participating in our future auctions until the amount you owe has been paid. No refunds or chargebacks are permitted.  AUCTION INSPECTION: Monday, November 9, 2023, 9 AM - 1 PM. We do NOT have time to examine items in the auction. All due diligence belongs to the bidder. If you have any questions pertaining to a specific lot, please text or call Tucker at 757-818-2968 DURING the posted preview time!  AUCTION ITEMS LOCATION: The Village Inn, 6116 College Drive, Suffolk, VA 23435 WARRANTY, CONDITIONS & DESCRIPTIONS: All items are sold as-is, where-is, with NO warranties expressed or implied, and there are NO refunds. Please read the description & examine the photos when bidding. If there is any doubt when viewing an item, go by the description, as photographs can sometimes show items that are not included, or are otherwise inaccurate. Most importantly, we heavily encourage you to come preview the items at the designated preview time. Neither the Auctioneer nor the Seller makes any warranties or representations of any kind or nature with respect to said property. AUTO-EXTENDED BIDDING: Our auctions feature a Simulated Live Auction Experience with staggered closings, auto-extend bidding and bid notifications. This allows items to close at a pre-determined rate of 1 item every 45 seconds. When combined with auto-extend bidding, the closing time of individual lots will be extended when a bid is placed in the last 2 minutes of the auction. This allows you a chance to place a final bid on an item you may have otherwise missed, and closely simulates a "live auction” experience. AUCTION END DATE: Tuesday, November 10, 2026, Lot #1 @ 10:30 AM and 1 lot every 45 seconds, thereafter. AUCTION PAYMENT & PICK UP TIMES: By appointment only, Wednesday, November 11th, 9 AM - 2 PM, with the latest appointment scheduled for 1:00 PM. Payment of all items will be required, by cash or business check at time of pick up or by credit or debit card, on November 10th.  SCHEDULE PAYMENT / PICK UP TIME: To schedule your appointment, click on the last lot in the auction (127), as soon as you know you've won an item. The online app will not open for scheduling until 10:30 AM on November 10th. If you do not schedule your appointment before the auction ends, lot  127 will disappear and you will have to click the link ON YOUR INVOICE. You MUST schedule an appointment BEFORE 9 PM on November 10th. Bidders are responsible for all costs, tools, equipment and labor involved with removal of their purchases. The auction staff is not available to provide any tools or labor associated with item removal.  PAYMENT: Your total invoice must be paid, in full, no later than 1 PM, November 11th.. After the auction ends, you will receive an invoice for your total which will include any applicable sales tax. If you believe you MAY have won an item, but do not receive an invoice by noon, please check your spam folder before contacting us. If you plan to pay by card, please click the Pay Now link emailed with your invoice, on November 10th. BUYER'S PREMIUM: A Buyer's Premium of 13% will be added to all items on your invoice. Your invoice total ASSUMES YOU ARE PAYING CASH. If you choose to pay by business check or the debit/credit card in your Bidder Profile, a 5% Admin fee will be added to your invoice total, making the Buyer's Premium 18%. The Buyer' Premium is pat of the Auctioneer's compensation for hosting the auction, which is paid by buyers.  SALES TAX: Virginia sales tax of 6% will be charged on all items, unless a valid tax exempt form is on file with the Auctioneer, PRIOR to the close of the auction. ABANDONED ITEMS: Any items not picked up on specified removal days, may be discarded, removed, resold or stored at Auctioneer's discretion. When you place a bid and are notified of winning an item, the item contractually becomes yours, and any fees associated with moving, removing, discarding or collecting payment, whether physical or legal are the responsibility of the bidder. Failure to remove any item by the specified time will forfeit your rights to the item. You are required to pay for every item you bid on and win, whether or not you pick them up.
